I started my career as a freelance artist in 1975 and I have
been working for magazines, books and advertising since then.
I love to paint '60s and early '70s racing cars and personalities.
They still shine in the history of motorsports and those beautiful
cars remind me
of the great talent of designers and car builders during that
period.
Today it is hard to see the difference between race cars without
sponsors logo on their cowls, but in the '60s and '70s, each
racing car had strong character. That's why I love old race cars
and their designers.
I started digital painting in the mid '90s with a Power Macintosh
and some graphic applications.
"Corel Painter" is the most valuable tool for me,
because it's the one and only program that allows me to make
artwork similar to using real brushes and
papers.
